PATRICK BROWNE

MBA, B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, CEM®, LEED AP, PMP® 

In 2020, at the height of the global pandemic, Patrick Browne set out to prove that there was a better way to build a more secure energy future for the Caribbean and South America – more specifically, a better way to unlock the vast renewable resources of the region and the ingenuity of its people. He was right. Patrick founded Seventh West Energy Consulting, which, through its Principals, has been a thought and execution partner shaping our renewable future.
 

Before launching Seventh West, Patrick was an Senior Project Engineer and Senior Project Manager at some of the region's most prolific Engineering and Construction firms including ANSA Technologies and Kentz Engineering (now part of SNC-Lavalin).  Patrick also served as an Instructor of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering at the University of Trinidad & Tobago.

Patrick holder several professional accreditations including: Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute;  Certified Energy Manager® - CEM® from the Association of Energy Engineers; and is a LEED Accredited Professional LEED AP. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons.) in Electrical & Computer Engineering  from the University of The West Indies, where he spent time as a post-graduate Research Assistant under Dr. Brian Copeland.
